[2023/11/02 17:01] Sonja Bikergrrl: Not a great deal, looks like another natural cave of sorts. At least there's no mushrooms.
[2023/11/02 17:02] Sonja Bikergrrl: There is, however, a crudely carved fountain, bubbling away at one side, which is directly facing you. The chamber appears to be roughly U shaped
[2023/11/02 17:02] Alicia Frakture: Leesha is going to enter... carefully
[2023/11/02 17:03] Sonja Bikergrrl: Now it gets interesting! ... you see in the other "arm" of the U, a crude wooden door.
[2023/11/02 17:04] Alicia Frakture: Leesha tells them about the wooden door and the fountain. She reaches into her pack as she approaches and pulls out one of her last pieces of meat and tosses it into the fountain
[2023/11/02 17:04] Alicia Frakture: in case that is the acid
[2023/11/02 17:05] ɗίηα ωíƖɗę ღ (kitten.venus): so another door can be seen , thats good
[2023/11/02 17:05] Sonja Bikergrrl: Oops... the meat sinks... then rises up, bubbling and dissolving, before suddenly sinking as if it just got snatched from below. Just before the greenish water bubbles and boils madly, you catch sight of something sparkling in there.

[2023/11/02 17:10] Sonja Bikergrrl: You approach the crude door, and hear low muttering voices from the other side. It sounds like a few goblins.

[2023/11/02 17:12] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: all this acid, anf goblins are easily fooled....
[2023/11/02 17:13] Alicia Frakture: Leesha looks to the others for ideas

[2023/11/02 17:19] Sonja Bikergrrl: There's a pause, and then hurried hoarse whispers. "It the pool monster!" "Get ready!" "Think it come for us?"
[2023/11/02 17:20] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: Dbben looks into the pool for signs of this monster
[2023/11/02 17:21] Sonja Bikergrrl: Other than the swirly murky waters.. it looks like a typical pool of slightly greenish water
[2023/11/02 17:22] Alicia Frakture: Leesha gets a stupid idea.
[2023/11/02 17:22] Sonja Bikergrrl: oh vey...
[2023/11/02 17:22] Alicia Frakture: "Pool monster?! Let us in it's coming for us!!!"
[2023/11/02 17:23] Sonja Bikergrrl: There's another pause, then a sudden scramble. You hear bars being slung aside and timber rumbling, then the door swings open, with three goblins peering round it. "Come quick! Escape pool monster!"
[2023/11/02 17:24] Alicia Frakture: Leesha motions and enters
[2023/11/02 17:25] ɗίηα ωíƖɗę ღ (kitten.venus): follows quickly
[2023/11/02 17:25] Sonja Bikergrrl: The goblins wait by the door, watching carefully, ready to slam the door shut, or bolt as the situation demands
[2023/11/02 17:25] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: Debben sneaks her way in as well
[2023/11/02 17:26] Sonja Bikergrrl: The goblins slam the door shut and put various bars and braces back up to keep the door shut. "We playing dice. You play?"
[2023/11/02 17:27] Alicia Frakture: Looks over."Never play before how it work?"
[2023/11/02 17:28] Alicia Frakture: *What do we see in the room*
[2023/11/02 17:28] Sonja Bikergrrl: The goblins all sit crosslegged about a pottery bowl. There's some copper coins in there... and an ear... "Make bet, roll dice, most spots wins!"
[2023/11/02 17:29] Sonja Bikergrrl: This chamber looks a bit more lived-in. There's clearly two well travelled passages; one straight ahead of you, which you're sure leads to the acid splattered passage. There's a door to one side.
[2023/11/02 17:30] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "I'm passingly familiar with dice," debben understates, looking over the games they have in play.
[2023/11/02 17:31] Alicia Frakture: You wanna play instead of me Debben?
[2023/11/02 17:31] ɗίηα ωíƖɗę ღ (kitten.venus): looks like a fun game
[2023/11/02 17:31] Sonja Bikergrrl: It's literally that. A goblin rolls two dice, and a brief squabble breaks out; after some curses relating to the goblins' mothers, they pick the dice up and start rolling again
[2023/11/02 17:33] Alicia Frakture: Leesha lets debben and Dina play while she checks out the side door
[2023/11/02 17:33] Alicia Frakture: *Not splitting the party, staying in the room*
[2023/11/02 17:33] Sonja Bikergrrl: It's a door, made of wood... slightly less crude
[2023/11/02 17:34] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "Sure, Leesha, I'll make a go at it."
[2023/11/02 17:34] Sonja Bikergrrl: What are you all doing?
[2023/11/02 17:35] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: Debben is keeping the goblins distracted and in a good mood by rolling dice, using the trick of arranging them in her palm to increase the odds of getting doubles
[2023/11/02 17:36] ɗίηα ωíƖɗę ღ (kitten.venus): Learning the dice game in order to join and play too
[2023/11/02 17:37] Alicia Frakture: Leesha is going to open the door and look down it after giving Debben some copper to bankroll her dice rolling
[2023/11/02 17:39] Sonja Bikergrrl: oh-kay... the door opens easily, and in the chamber beyond, there's a rather large burly guy. Green skinned, missing an eye and a tusk... it's clearly an orc. He roars as he sees you. "Who you... you not one of us... Why you idiots throwing dice? Kill them!" And he raises his battle axe and charges forwards. The goblins squawk and scatter, grabbing up their spears to attack.

[2023/11/02 17:41] Sonja Bikergrrl: Debben gets to go first! Then Leesha/orc, then Dahlia, lastly goblins. What are you doing?
[2023/11/02 17:43] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "If you wanted to join in, you can just ask!" She tosses the dice over to him, in the same moment attempting to cast an illusion over him to confuse which of them are goblins and which of them are other races.
[2023/11/02 17:44] Alicia Frakture: Leesha holds her action to see how this works
[2023/11/02 17:44] Sonja Bikergrrl: That's a creative use of the spell... now everyone looks like a goblin, to the orc, anyway.
[2023/11/02 17:45] Sonja Bikergrrl: Leesha? You're next...
[2023/11/02 17:46] Alicia Frakture: Holding Action to see Orcs response
[2023/11/02 17:47] Sonja Bikergrrl: He's still charging with the battle axe up high, screaming blood thirsty cries
[2023/11/02 17:48] Alicia Frakture: If she hits him it throws off the illusion, so she keeps off to the side
[2023/11/02 17:49] Sonja Bikergrrl: Not necessarily
[2023/11/02 17:49] Sonja Bikergrrl: in fact... not at all. It's an illusion, not a charm person - which you didn't cast, either
[2023/11/02 17:51] Alicia Frakture: Fine as soon as the orc Steps through she's going for a punch to his side as hard as she can.
[2023/11/02 17:51] Sonja Bikergrrl: The orc sweeps wildly with his axe, and misses, just as you punch... but miss.
[2023/11/02 17:52] Sonja Bikergrrl: Dahlia?
[2023/11/02 17:52] ɗίηα ωíƖɗę ღ (kitten.venus): is the orc swinging while still running forward?
[2023/11/02 17:53] ɗίηα ωíƖɗę ღ (kitten.venus): or did it stop ?
[2023/11/02 17:53] Sonja Bikergrrl: The orc is right now in melee with Leesha. You got three goblins trying to poke you and Debben with spears.
[2023/11/02 17:54] ɗίηα ωíƖɗę ღ (kitten.venus): ok well i will swing at a goblin with my flail a basic swing towards it center
[2023/11/02 17:54] Sonja Bikergrrl: d20
[2023/11/02 17:55] Sonja Bikergrrl: A swing and a miss.... d'oh!
[2023/11/02 17:56] Sonja Bikergrrl: Oh boy. The goblins quickly snatch up their stone spears and one jabs at Debben - injuring her. One jabs at Dahlia and badly injures her. The third one stabs wildly and misses.
[2023/11/02 17:57] Sonja Bikergrrl: Outlook: not so good!
[2023/11/02 17:57] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: How much damage to Debben, one 1 hp damage?
[2023/11/02 17:58] Sonja Bikergrrl: A light wound, you can certainly fight more, but, bear in mind your lightly armoured and unable to take many hits.
[2023/11/02 17:58] Sonja Bikergrrl: Dina is certainly worse off - and Leesha is evenly matched.
[2023/11/02 17:59] Sonja Bikergrrl: Which makes a rather good, if slightly annoying cliffhanger... but it is 1am and it's Friday tomorrow
